Myofascial Therapy

Fascia is a fibrous membrane or 3D web of connective tissue covering, supporting, and separating muscles. It also unites the skin with underlying tissue. The fascial network supports and stabilizes muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones.

Myofascial therapy is a specific group of techniques applied with gentle and sustained pressure to the myofascial tissue restriction to eliminate pain and restore range of motion, thereby improving structural balance and function. It is done with little or no lubricant. It benefits most clients dealing with postural inefficiencies, movement dysfunction, and post injury scar tissue.
